Hi, I'm Kayla. I'm a nerd. By day I'm a pediatric physical therapist, and a full time Mom, by night I sort & edit photos until my eyes cross, trying to squeeze in any spare time for my favorite hobby of picture-taking. I mostly capture memories of my own family & our events, school sports, and wildlife. My sports images are focused towards my family's athletes, but I love delivering photos of as many players on the court or field if I can. I've learned that hunting for birds tests my patience. And photos of sports gets my squats in for the day.

I've been taking photos since I was a kid, going through a few cameras, made a lot of mistakes, read a lot of "how-to's", and watched a lot of YouTube. I've spent a few years using a Canon Rebel T7 with a nifty-fifty and a 70-200 f2.8, and kept progressing equipment to a mirrorless body and a 100-500mm. My wishlist remains endless!

I photograph purely for fun & myself. My goal is for people to look at my photos and smile, recording a memory to be shared, printed, or put away to reminisce later. Enjoy!
